Anticase of authors’ publications in the journal of the 1st quartile (q1) of Scopus database

We want to share some important information that you may find interesting.

As a scholarly publishing company, Big Time has closely monitored the journal Kurdish Studies and its activity in the Scopus database.

We are proud to say that due to our principled approach and commitment to research ethics, we have always cautioned our authors against publishing in this publication. Scopus recently decided to remove the journal from its database and to cancel all articles indexed in 2023-2024, of which there were almost 800 in the database. This step was taken due to the journal’s non-compliance with ethical norms and principles of publication activity, as well as due to their commercial policy based on generating income at the expense of authors without due attention to the quality of the submitted materials.
